About Laugh Boston!

THE BASICS

Where are you located?

We are located on the corner of Summer and D streets in the lobby of the Westin Hotel in the Seaport District.

When are the shows? / How much are tickets?

Every week our programming is unique so check our calendar for when you’re thinking of visiting us for the specifics of who’s playing when and how much.

Is there an age restriction on your shows?

Laugh Boston is generally an 18+ club. Children 16 years and older are permitted to shows but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and younger than 16 years of age is not permitted at the club unless otherwise noted on the show page. We do caution that comedy is subjective and the material may be offensive to some. We generally consider our shows to be R rated. Please do your own due diligence to research comics if you are unfamiliar with the comic's material.

When do doors open?

The doors open an hour before show time to our bar, and half hour before showtime for the actual showroom.

Is there parking available? Do you validate parking?

Yes there is! The most convenient option and the one we highly recommend is self-parking inside the Westin Hotel garage which provides you with sheltered access to Laugh Boston. Just pull up to the front of the Westin at 425 Summer Street and follow signs for self-parking. Price is $16 with validation at our box office up to 4 hours ($36 otherwise). If you're feeling really fancy, you can use the Valet service at the Westin for $24 with validation at our box office for up to 4 hours.

We also suggest the following alternatives*:

  • Necco Street Garage for $5 on weekends and is only a 10 minute walk from the venue.
  • Lot on D for $15 after 7pm to 7am and is only a 10 minute walk from the venue.

* rates and schedules are subject to change; please visit websites for most accurate rate information.

There is also street parking on Summer and D Streets, but depending on events being held at the convention center or other venues nearby, spaces may be limited.

We are also very close to public transportation at South Station off the Red Line (10-15 min) or the Seaport Trade Center off the Silver Line (5-8min).

What if there is inclement weather?

Laugh Boston rarely cancels shows due to inclement weather. However, if that were to happen, the box office will contact all ticket buyers and ask if they’d like to exchange their purchase for another show or provide them with a full refund. We will also post the closure on Twitter and Facebook.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

Unfortunately, we do not. For extenuating circumstances, please contact our Box Office at 617.72.LAUGH.

FOOD AND DRINK

Is there a drink minimum?

There is no drink minimum at Laugh!

Can I bring a drink into the show?

No outside drinks are allowed in our venue per order of the state of Massachusetts. Once inside you are welcome to purchase a drink and bring it to your seat, or have our excellent wait staff serve you at your table.

Is there food?

We have a light fare menu that consists of appetizers, paninis and several dessert options.

SEATING

Are seats assigned? What if I’m with a group?

Seating is general admission. We can only guarantee group seating if you call ahead and there is availability for your group to sit together.

Assigned seating is held until the show begins. Once the show has started, latecomers will be sat in the best seats available.

Will the comedian make fun of me out if I sit up front?

It is possible. We discourage the comics from calling out audience members, but occasionally it is part of their act. If you are worried about the comic interacting with you or your party members, we suggest purchasing general admission tickets farther away from the stage.

BEHAVIOR

Can I yell out funny comments to help the comedian make the show better?

We are a no heckling club and discourage unprompted interaction with the comedian while they are on stage. If you or a member of your group becomes a distraction to the act or the audience you will be asked to leave. Often the comedian will be available after the show for pictures and conversation. Please note: the comics reserve the right to interact with audience members at their own discretion. If you’d prefer that this does not happen to you or members of your party, we suggest purchasing general admission tickets farther away from the stage.

Can I do a guest spot?

Nah, probably not.

Have you thought of doing an open mic?

Totally! We don’t have one right now, because we’re focusing our programming to bring you the best comedy in the country. However, stay tuned! We’re always programing fun, new shows.
